  21. LASR-MAN v4.00: LASR-MAN prints ASCII text files on a laser printer in any of
  22. 36 styles. Great for program manuals and listings, draft documents, wide
  23. spreadsheets, database listings, legal documents - save up to 93% of your paper
  24. usage! Available styles include: normal portrait or landscape orientation each
  25. with five font sizes ranging from 10 to 32 characters per inch; multiple text
  26. pages per paper sheet - 2, 4, 8 or 16 ; individual files where each is printed
  27. in the form of a pamphlet; groups of files printed together, each file as a
  28. chapter, in the form of a book with 4, 8 or 16 text pages per sheet. Many
  29. options including custom covers and header/footer page titles, and menu

  46. IBM PC, XT, AT or true compatibles operating with PC/MS-DOS, version 3.0 or
  47. later, any monitor, Hewlett-Packard LaserJet printer or compatible. May also be
  48. used with other laser printers that use PCL4 after defining their printer com-
  49. mand codes in the optional configuration file.

  154. ╒╡ SPECIAL INSTALLATION INFORMATION ╞═════════════════════════════════════════╕
  155. 1.  To install the shareware version normally supplied on diskette, copy the
  156.     self extracting file "LASR@vvv.EXE" (vvv is the version) to either a sepa-
  157.     rate directory - such as "LM" - or a directory that is referenced in the
  158.     path statement. At the DOS prompt, change to this drive-directory, type
  159.     "LASR@vvv" and press [ENTER].
  160. 2.  To install the shareware version downloaded from a BBS, unpack the file
  161.     "LASR@vvv.ZIP" (vvv is the version) to either a separate directory - such
  162.     as "LM" - or a directory that is referenced in the path statement. 
  163. 3.  To install and "BRAND" the registered version, run the supplied program
  164.     "INSTALL".
  165. 4.  To just "BRAND" the registered version without running the INSTALL program,
  166.     press [F4] at the shareware registration reminder screen.
  167. 5.  To run the program, change to the drive-directory on which it is located
  168.     (only if it isn't on a path referenced directory), type "LASR-MAN" and
  169.     press [ENTER]. 
  170. 6.  FOR UPGRADING TO VERSION 4 FROM EARLIER VERSIONS:
  171.     The format of many of the LASR-MAN files has been changed in Version 4. It
  172.     is recommended that the files from previous versions be removed from the
  173.     hard disk or moved to a directory that is not in the PATH before Version 4
  174.     is installed. The only exception to this is the file LASR-MAN.REG for reg-
  175.     istered users: it should be left in its current directory.
